New Heights Community Church

Enter to worship, depart to serve.

To the Guest of New Heights, we want it to be easy for you to come to church. We want you to experience a great time in worship and meet friendly people who will welcome you into the family of New Heights. We know that first-time visits to any church raise many questions and concerns. Here's a quick look at some frequently asked questions that will hopefully give you a better idea of what to expect when you visit New Heights. If you don't see an answer to your question here or on any of the specific ministry pages, please contact our church. Our staff would love to assist you in your preparation for your visit to New Heights.

Where do I park?
We have ample parking around the building. Our main parking lot (east side) is the most convenient to use. If you need assistance, feel free to ask any of the greeters.

Where do I go?
Greeters are located at the main entrance to the Sanctuary and are available to direct you to any specific ministry meeting area.

What should I wear?
Dress comfortably.  We're more concerned with meeting your needs than focusing on what you wear.  While some people do choose to wear their "Sunday best", many people wear casual clothing. We only ask that you be modest and appropriate in what you choose to wear to worship.

What do I need to bring?
A Bible will help you follow along in worship.  If you have a Bible, bring it with you. If you don't have a Bible, copies of the New International Version Bible are located in the Sanctuary chairs for your use.

When do I need to arrive?
Sunday morning services begin promptly at 10:30 am. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the service/class time to allow adequate time for getting to the Sanctuary.

Is the church handicap accessible?
Yes. There is reserved parking directly on the west side of the Sanctuary. Should you need assistance, please contact us ahead of time and we'll be ready to help you with whatever you may need.

Where do my children go?
All children should be dropped off in the NewKids Building (eastern bldg). For pick-up of infant-6yrs please go to back bldg, for 7 and up please go to the NewKids Building. More info here.

What are Worship services like?
While none of our Worship services are exactly the same, we do offer a blended Worship experience which may include hymns and choruses. Our music is led by our Praise team. We want our Worship to be a gift to God where we that are involved come to a realization that He is our focus. Our Pastor, Artie Rose and occasionally guest speakers, offer insightful messages, revealing the truths of the Bible to help prepare and challenge us in our daily walk.

How are visitors recognized?

The last thing we want to do is single you out or put you on the spot.  We ask visitors to fill out a Visitor Information Card located in the back of the Sanctuary and simply drop it in the offering basket so that we can have a record of your visit.  We'll never ask you to stand up or call you out in any way.  We want you to have a wonderful experience at New Heights and we strive to create a friendly and comfortable environment to make you feel right at home.

We hope you'll join us soon at New Heights.
